5 year start of Project OR 15 years completion of Project if failed

Jharkhand Industrial Policy (JPSC syllabus)


Aim of the policy: Investment friendly environment for maximum investment
Rehabilitation of viable sick units

ü  First Jharkhand State Industrial Policy – 2001

ü  40% of the total mineral wealth of the country
ü  Sole producer of – Coking coal, Uranium and Pyrite
ü  Top producer of – Coal, Mica, Kynite and Copper in India

ü  Steel – 20-25% of the total
ü  MoU between Steel Industry and NMDC – 6 MT integrated steel plants
